Felicity Jones is a native of England and is primarily known for the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting when she was aged 12. She's appeared as an actor in a variety of dramas, TV series, as well as in films. Her professional career began in the television production The Treasure Seekers. She then was Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, and the sequel Weirdsister college. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she continued to act in other movies. Her popularity grew due to her role in films including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The character she portrayed in The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nomination for her first time. Jones, who played Stephen Hawking's wife second in the biopic, was rewarded with lots of praise from the critics and viewers for the way she depicted her. Inferno was the next film she appeared in with Tom Hanks. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her outstanding talent and contribution to cinema.
