Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American actress from America. Her film debut was during 1983's Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack group of actors. She was also on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. Her career in film began in the early 1980s when she starred as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured popular actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, after her successful debut on screen, the actress appeared in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the greatest high school films of all-time. Although the budget was just $1 million its earnings crossed the mark of $50 million. Between then she started appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. In April 1980, the show started airing. It was aimed at teens. Other TV shows she appeared in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances of Sheedy include Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie that tells the story of a hero, in which Sheedy appears as a guest. Sheedy is known for her amazing performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
